I personally like the SSR GT-1 better because of the finish and design but, the Superleggera is a little lighter.
Thanks, Luke

Luke,

what exactly is the finish. From the picture it looks like a satin anthracite, is that accurate?

You hit that nail right on the head. The GT-1's are a little lighter in colr and shinier.
Thanks, Luke

Does the SSR Integral come in a proper offset for our cars? Luke, what do you think of the quality of this wheel?

I am seriously considering the Axis Se7en's right now, but if you've got something else Luke...feel free to try and convince me

I am seriously considering the SSR GT-1, but when I saw you post these my mind is not so sure anymore. How would the SSR GT-1 fit on my '00 Contour SVT ? compared to the OZ Racing Superleggerra ? or would they be the same just one a little lighter and the other a better finish ?

What kinda package would you offer for each wheel ?

Last, How much do the SSR GT-1's weigh ?

Thanks,
Louis

The Superleggera is a little lighter than the GT-1's. I do have the OZ's in-stock at this time. It is a forged wheel that is extremely strong.
I personally like the way the spokes of the GT-1 extend to the very edge of the wheel and the OZ has shorter spokes.
The OZ is an excellent choice as is the GT-1. Now it's time to make your decision on visual impact.
Either would be an excellent choice with significant weight savings to aid in performance.
One more thing to consider, the OZ is about $60.00 less expensive per wheel.
Thanks, Luke

Does anyone have a pic of these OZ Superleggera wheels on a Contour???

I would love to see how these rims would look like.

Nobody has a set yet for a Contour. They are brand new and have just arrived ... want to be the first?
Thanks, Luke

Oh... i just visited tirerack.com and saw the OZ Superleggera on the Inter-active wheel page. Looks pretty cool...
If anyone does decide to purchase a set, please post some pics. Nothing beats a real-life picture.

Two questions:

1) Is the wheel actually "silver" paint like
Tire Rack's listing states? I have a silver
SVT, and I find the darker "satin silver" and
"anthracite" paint shades just look like a
permanent coat of brake dust on a light car
(not limited to our cars, either, as I don't
like the new BMW M5 "shadow chrome" wheels on
a white or silver M5, either -- too dark, but
they look KILLER on a darker car). So I would
like to know if these are a real, traditional
silver or "anthracite" (keeping in mind that
I do consider the SSR GT-1 to be a "bright"
or "brilliant" silver finish, and that most
wheels aren't that "bright" of course).

2) Do these wheels have a fixed four-bolt hub
for our cars, or do they have (gods forbid)
one of those two-bolt-pattern-in-one hubs in
that there's actually eight holes around the
center of the wheel? I personally really do
not like that look (though some "tuners" out
there seem to love it - god knows why) and I
also don't like superfluous holes in the hub
of my wheel. :>

Please let us know, Luke... and thanks VERY
much for continuing to bring our attention to
what is a very nice, and hopefully expanding,
selection of wheels for our cars.

T.
