I was looking at the SSR GT1 ($330 per) 17.5 lbs and the Borbet type T ($179 per) 20lbs. I would like to find something between there price wise. Is 2.5lbs worth $150 per wheel. Opinions? Also what do the E0 and E1 wheels weigh in at anyone know??

My 18" team loco 42s were only $150 a piece and they weigh 22lbs. I think 17s are around 19lbs

another post listed the ST200 wheels at 19lbs 6oz and the stock E1s at ~19lbs

I have 17" loco 142s with 215/45/17 tires. Combined wheel/tire weight is the same as the E1 SVT wheel/tire combination.

Huibrex is right; getting below 19 lbs or so costs beaucoup money. Only the buyer can decide whether it's worth it. A lighter wheel has less rotational mass; therefore quicker acceleration and braking. I doubt my butt-dyno could tell the difference of 2 lbs. per wheel.

Try the volks racing not sure if they fitt but 16" are at 12 pds. Team Dynamics 17" Monzas 17 pds belive the rim 2000 is the same weight.
