i had a severly bent rear control arm and a slightly damaged front control arm. My alignment was never right straight out of the factory. I took it in like 3 times and they kept re-aligning it. Finally I told them, this is not doing the trick, there has to be something else. they put the car up and took a look underneath, low and behold was the problem. i argued and aruged, but they would not fix it, i even wrote a letter to ford, no help... they said the only way this kind of damage could have been done is by having the car towed out of a ditch. which i never did, and even if i ever had, why would i attach a chain to the rear control arm, and how would that bend the front one? anyway, bunch of bs on their part, they just didn't want to fix it. all i know is, i wore through the rear tires (insides) extremly fast. at first they blamed it on "excessive hard driving" which is a bunch of bs. not even possible to do that, even if i did drive the car hard, it would not wear the inside of the REAR tires. finaly after some serious arguing and a letter from the dealer saying they would replace any tires and do any control arm work needed for the next 24 months, i argreed to have the work done... i got severly screwd on the whole deal... anyway, she drives like a dream now... i am still sour about the whole thing...
