What about the Mazda "Speed" Protege? They will be here this fall!

I'm being bitten by the new car bug too......but I'm looking for something impractical. I'm looking at 68-82 Vettes either T-tops or convertible and a MTX is a must. This is my favorite body style and a "needs some TLC" car is right around 10k...very affordable.

When my promotion comes through in another two months (I hope) I may be the proud owner of 25 yr old classic!!!

Good luck, dude. I'm a hard core slushbox hater myself, but so many of the Vettes out there have automatics it's disgusting. These guys who collect them just want to wipe them with a diaper, I guess, to hell with driving it... mad
