The numbers looked good on the X-One, but I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much about tires. I'm a diagnostic communications guy.

What tires would you recommend for 3-season use in Michigan on the stock SE Sport 8-spoke alloys? If you could, please recommend 2 tires: 1) cost is not a factor, and 2) $200-300 /set.
Also, how do the Artic Alpins compare to my other winter tire options?
