does anyone here know what is going on w/ my SVT i was driving down the interstate at about 80 mph in fifth gear and it started running rough and all of the sudden it would get over 2000 rpm and the peddal was to the floor so i got it off the interstate and on a back road and it died i started it right back up and it would not idal at a certain rpms it would fluctuate so the first thing i thought about was the superchip so i took it out reset my computer and so far it hasent done it again but i did this once before and it took about a week for it to do it again so i am gonna leave my chip out to see if that was the problem but any other ideas about what is going on

Sounds like the chip might have caused it to die worked it's way loose or something. Did you get a CEL when it happened?

no i didnt get a CEL but it kinda did it today on my way to work and my chip is not in the car anymore so it acts like it isnt getting fuel or something but i just ran fuel injection cleaner through it and i can hear the fuel pump kick on and i am goona replace fuel filter probably today to see if that works if not i dont know what else it could be

Fuel Pump, Battery, Alternator... all of those are possibilities.
