I'm in Knoxville.
I don't have an SVT Contour, but I'm still part of the "SVT Family." If a group does get together in Pigeon Forge, I'll try and make it. My fiancee and I go to Sevier County all the time anyway. The Rod Run was last weekend, but we couldn't make it.
Just curious Wthermans: where have you been looking for SVT's? (BTW: I'm not flaming you, just trying to help out.)
As of about 2wks ago, there was one on the Honda dealer's lot in Oak Ridge. There was also one on the Ford dealer's lot right down the street. To be honest, I didn't spend too much time looking at them because I was having some work done and didn't have time.
About 3wks (or so) ago there was a red one on the Roane County Ford dealer's lot. But, I did look pretty closely at that one and it wasn't the best example of an SVT.
Those are all the SVT's I can think of right now. I'm sort-of friendly w/ those dealerships (I stress "sort-of") and could give you a contact name if that were helpful to you.
Before I bought my 94 Cobra, I had been looking for an SVT for a loooooong time. I have seen quite a few in this area...unfortunately, they were either in bad shape or overpriced.
I see a good number on the streets of Knox County, too - not for sale, though.
