Well I was on my way home sunday night and I stopped at Mcdonalds on douglus blvd and had to wait for the lady to count her drawer. So I pulled out of the lane and parked where I could go back to the line after 10 minutes.
While i was waiting, a maxmia pulled up and started talking to me because I had the www.contour.org stickers on my windows and he had www.maxima.org on his. We talked for about 10-15 minutes and then we got to talking about the fact that I was mad at myself for not drag racing at ennis at the national meet.I was telling him how there were alot of svt's drag racing and then he said he didn't think the svt's could beat anything.Thats basiclly when I was offened and said bye and left.

Can you belive that a maxima driver said that. He definetly doesn't know his a$$ from a hole in the ground. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

My grandma drives a Maxima...lol

They feel their cars are better. I don't have a problem with their loyalty to the brand. Just their rudeness. I have much respect for Maximas. Just not for a lot of their owners.

Well I must say that I own both, I have raced with both. My Contour is a nice runnin car, I beat a Maxima before in mine, it was stock and I have the SVT exhaust and a cone intake on. I now own a Maxima and it is a fast car, but a SVT with a lil exhaust and intake work would hang with a Max Im sure, the thing the Maxima has going for it is the design of the Y-Pipe and the aftermarket Y-Pipes available for them are real sweet and add some serious power (15-20 horse). Sorry I just had to add my 2 cents.
