hey, off topic a bit....Having a problem with my Fosgate amp, i dont know if it's because it's too hot and overheating or alternator problems. Usually when on a long trip and a lot of things on such as A/C, Radar Detector, and of course the system...The amp will turn off for about 30-50 second sand come on for a few min, then shut back off. Also sometimes, When I exit the car and open the door, the dome light doesnt come on, and sometimes it does, even though i can turn on the dome light by it's switch in the dash. when the key is left in the ignition, the beep noise ya usually get when the door is open is not present, but it seems to work today, Any ideas on what's going on?? thanks

Have no clue... Only thing I can figure is that there is a loose connection somewhere. As for the the dome light not coming on, I have noticed this a few times, but it is due to the switch in the door jamb getting dirty and not making contact. I just have to push it in a few times and all is good again. I can be removed and cleaned. That would be my guess on that issue but don't know about the amp issue. How do you have it wired up and to what?

I thought it was a loose connection too, but it was doing this one night while cruising...parked the car, car on, system on...still does it. the amp get REALLY hot, can't even touch it, feels like an iron.

Guys really sorry I didn't SHO, but I couldn't get these dam forums to work for like the last 3 days... Anyway I got sick Friday at work (no really) came home at like 7, slept for 15hours woke up at 10 and came outside to see that my dad had started work on the SHO. I still didn't feel that good, but I had to finish the car before I could go anywhere. This wasn't just the basic work either, he went all out on the dirty interior, but it looks 10 times better now.

well other than the small turn out, :rolleyes: i have to say the sulpur meet was a blast. well maybe next meet we can have something closer to tulsa so you tulsa peeps can go. i'm working on recruiting more members down here in shawnee and tecumseh so maybe the meets we decide to have down here won't be so small. :p oh well it was fun anyway to bad all ya'll missed it. hope to see more of ya'll at the next meet.
