Actually, I don't know the build number. Is there a registry or VIN lookup resource that would get me that info? I'm getting a little jealous of the sigs on here. Wanna do my part to show off some SVT pride...

You have to call SVT directly and give them your VIN, they'll look up the info for you...build# & date. I can't remember it right now though
It's an 800 number...

Thanks... if I don't get the original certificate, can they provide one and an owners manual?

They will send you a new certificate w/ build number, date, and point of assembly, but i don't know about an owners manual... anything for a fee, I assume. To get the ownership certificate though you have to send them proof of ownership, state registration, insurance info, bill of sale, something that includes the VIN and the fact that you now own it.

The owners manual is available as a .pdf file at My Ford Homepage . After you register you can look it up in the Resources & References section. Or I can e-mail it to you, its 2.26 MB in size.

Thanks AndrewR. I'll download and print it out today. Got a nice little Xerox DocuCentre at work. I'm going to start a binder with that and keep all my records for the car in it.. On second thought, can you send it? I can't register the car until I get the title transferred. Thanks.
