well someone told me to check out you guys's site so here i am. i usually post on FocalJet, or Oklahoma Street Racing. yes i drive a 2002 Focus, its brand new so i just started modding it. you can check out out site at www.ok-foc.com its new and its very VERY rough so go easy on us. we have alot of other members that dont have pics of their cars yet. i look forward to meeting you!

everything looks good for saturday. ill probably be able to meet you guys. just send me some more info on time and place. my girlfriends contour is having some electrical problems. maybe you guys can help her track down the problem. oh, and i dont live in shawnee, i live in del city.

Hi, this is AphidAudio's woman, the one with the Contour. Where should I start? The instrument panel lights went out at the end of August. I have replaced the fuse TWICE, but it still blows. The mechanic at the dealership wasn't much help and told me about a "switch", but again, it wasn't much help because he would not tell me where, how, etc. The headlights, tail lights, blinkers and dome lights still work, just the instrument panel lights. Also, I recently discovered that my back-up lights are now out. The bulbs are not burnt out, and the fuses are fine. Has anyone else ever had a problem like that? Is it common with Contours? HELP!!

Very interesting. I haven't had that problem either. what year is your tour? there is a recall for the headlight switch. Has that been done? If not, it might be what's causing the instrument lights to not work. Not sure about the backup lights. I have heard that the wires that are covered up w/ that black plastic piece on the hinge part sometimes get knicked or pinched and that might cause the back up lights to not work... just a few thoughts.

Yeah, I've been told that a wire could be loose or out of place that controls the back up lights. It's a 96 tour, and I still have some warranty left on it, but I think that I could get better advice on these boards that from the dealership people. As far a headlight wire, I'm really not sure about all that. I really don't want to do anything hard core until I know for sure what the problem is, but thank you so much for the advice!
