Bummer. Sorry 'bout the ticket. I haven't gotten one since '94, in Virginia for doing almost 50 in a 35 zone. The cop said he did me a favor by having the ticket say "disobeying a traffic sign" instead of "exceeding speed limit". I think it was only $65. I learned my lesson then.
You know the funny thing is now I live in Owasso and drive around Tulsa all the time and see cops everywhere, I always drive 5mph over the posted limit, EXCEPT in school zones, construction areas, and near police stations. And I have never been hassled. I have even passed cops on 169 northbound and southbound doing 5mph over the limit and they have not hassled me.
I guess I'm just pushing envelope?....
