That's what I thought, but it was almost 3 in the morning and it was a local cop who stopped me so maybe he was just being nice.
But I was told that the fine is only doubled if it is posted, and at this site it wasn't so I guess that's why it was cheap.
BTW, first ticket and hopefully my last! knock on wood! :p
