People always try to tell me my Contour is a piece of junk. I ask them, 'then why does it have 168,000 miles on it, and run and look as good as it does?' Shuts them up, quick! Ha ha!

I love people not knowing or respecting the contour. Had a contour owner ask me the other day: "Where'd joo get dem 'sides' at...those are tiiiiiiight" hehe, then I just had to give him the whole SVT spill.  -neal

cute story: A lady stopped me in the parking lot and asked if my car -MYSTIQUE 99-V-6, 24 V , WAS FOR SALE??? SHE HAD A GRAND MARQUIS SAME YEAR AS MINE AND HALF THE MILEAGE BUT LIKED MINE BETTER. OF COURSE I FLATLY REFUSED. MADE ME FEEL PROUD OF MY CAR AND A LITTLE HAPPIER

New management at Ford regrets it now and will bring out a new mid size based on the Mazda 6, which should be helpful. Just that we have to wait till 2005 for it! I love this sleeper. There are a lot of people that are surprised by what this car can do. I have gotten more compliments as the mods have been piling up. But there are still some Ford haters out there.

I always had the same experiences. And just like you others, one ride was all it took for most people to say "DAMN".
The Tour has been gone now for a week. Damn, I miss it and all the fun we had on these curvy West Virginia roads!
WE all know what the Contour is and does. Who cares what others think when you are grinning ear to ear??

I just showed the guys here at the shop my engine bay. They were all curious as to why there were 12 runners on the intake manifold and how Ford fit a V6 of any size into our cars! Needless to say, all were impressed.

all i have to say to people that dis my car is that i love my car and it is faster thasn most others that i have seen and last longer too!! if only people knew the power behind the tour!!!!!
