Do you want more of a sports car (rx-7) or a GT (thunderbird)?

If RWD is a must and something to tinker with is a priority there are quite a few options out there. Me? I'd probably get a used volvo 240 (they made some 2 doors) and put some big american iron under the hood, like a 351. Talk about owning ricers eek

The 240SX is a front driver, only way to ger a rwd one is to either do a conversion or import a Sylvia.

What about a Miata? I'm thinking of getting one sometime in the next 12 months and running Spec Miata races.

I'll take a look at a Conquest, they certainly are inexpensive.

I crossed off an RX-7 for one reason, Wankel engine!

I'm sure a Volvo 240 can fly, but it's exterior doesn't suit my tastes.

I believe the 240SX is RWD.

I had the Miata in a similar situation as the Fiero, didn't care for it at the time. I'll add it.
