I saw Jerry A's name, and that he finished 6th, but did not know you shared the same car!

I'm starting to think twice about my contention that the Tour has top ten potential in G Stock in the right hands. There maybe some superdriver out there like this Martens guy who is the only one who can make a 99 Camaro RS V6 go fast in G stock. But my best guestimate from looking at multiple event times, early in the season is that the Celica GT is the car to win with in G Stock now.

Sure the Carpenter CRX, that you will no doubt see at Peru, and several great Neon drivers (Danny Shields. S.E. Division) have a shot. But in the Southeast Division alone, I can't even hope to finish in much more than the top ten. Ken Rupp, G.H. Sharp, and Rick Cone in new Celicas all kick ass, and even in Alabama a couple of great drivers in Alabama region, Clay McCool and another guy drive newer Neon ACRs quite well. Look for a very strong showing from the Southeast region in G Stock at this year's Nationals!

Gotta go, later.
