I felt really good about how I did in that event. I don't know if this was relayed, but myself and JerryA both corded tires during the Evolution course. He corded three of his four old Bridgies, and I roasted one of my Kuhmos. Rather than the both of us running street tires the next day, I suggested that we throw the mix-n-match R compounds on one car and run that way. We put them on his car, so I was a little off my optimal time, there. Our two car are remarkably similar (his being the prettier of the two smile ), so we are probably talking about no more than a tenth or so. My gratitude goes out to JerryA for allowing me the drive on Sunday.

As to the National Tour (and Nationals). Part of what draws me to this sport is all the fantastic people it attracts. If you ever have a question, just ask about anyone, and they'll tell you, honestly and openly. The national guys that instructed me were very approachable, and completely down to earth. Almost every single person I sat ans spoke with at the Evolution class was interesting. I had an instructor extend an open invite to me for the upcoming Tour and Nationals, and I am going to take him up on it. Regardless of how I finish, it will be a blast to go and compete and hang out (even if I finish last). I will be able to see how I stack up against top drivers, and hell, maybe even trophy wink I put my application in for the Tour a month or so ago, so I hope I'm in smile Oh, and I love to bench race, too laugh
