I found that going anything more than half up front re-introduces understeer, even with the Aussie-Bar.

Seat time,
Evolution Driving School
Seat time
Follow and talk with an expert around the track.
Seat time
Have an instructor ride with you at any local AutoX. Most are more than willing to go with people.
Seat time.
Catching a familiar refrain here?

Walk the course ... Then walk the course ... Then walk the course ... Then walk the course some more . DON'T leave the course mid-walk , no matter what . I read in an Auto-X book once that in a SLALOM , you should concentrate on the SPACE between the cones and NOT the cones themselves . It sounds silly , but it seems to work for me . Like others have said , SEAT TIME is the best way to get good at it . Most important - HAVE FUN !!! THAT's what it's all about .

FWIW, I would suggest a road course. The Gingerman roadcourse at Spring Zing was the stuff. The road course is easier because of no cones, you don't get lost in a sea of cones, twice the speed, twice the distance. And only twice the cost, no working, and safer due to no light polls, trees, etc.
I am looking into more road courses.

Y2KMondeoSVT hit it on the head. Also remeber to take your time the first run and steadily push it more each run. You will love it!!
