OK, Mike, I thought it was you but the talk of NE-CEG threw me. You ran Potenza RE 730 tires, right?BTW is frenchblue a guy or girl? Was she the short brunette girl at SZ? Did you make several runs with passengers? That could have hurt you or helped. I think it adds more balance to the car but of course there is a weight penalty. BigMoneyRacing and his girlfriend alternated running with each other one time and got too close for my comfort! I have also noticed better handling with a right-seater.
Speaking of BigMoneyRacing (Matt),thanks for the words of encouragement before and after. I'm not sure I "kicked Yankee butt", in fact, there seems little difference in driving talent between North and South and East and West. I DO think you would have faired very well since you can generally run within 1 or 2 seconds of me on a one minute course. So on this 25 second course, you would have been within less than a second in theory. I would love to see you run against The Mark, (who ran 2 seconds slower than Couture with race tires vs. my one second slower without)and 69Boss302. It would be very, very close race!!!
Back to work, picked up "Oceans 11" out on video/DVD today.
