I was thinking cart a while ago but that still expensive (5K startup?), and plus my dad wants to have a vehicle that gets better than 18 mpg for commuting.
We were considering an old VW, specifically an 87-92 GTI 16v, but I can't resist RWD.
And once again there are not any good CRXs in my area.

i've been toying with the possibility of buying a CRX as an autocrosser and daily driver to save wear/tear and mileage on my SVT. i've liked them for a while and it looks like it would be a fun little car to hook up.
