Well, there seems to be some speculation about my midnight red '95 Contour that posted the fastes at Spring Zing. So here are the facts: It's an entirely stock 95 Se with no options (no options = less weight, with only a K&N air filter to try and help performance. I am running 205-60-15 Dunlop SP Sport 5000(symmetric) performance all-season tires which are an excellent tire for the price and they still work well in the winter. Part of the thing that helped make the car fast is the allignment that I have on it. I'm running close to 1 deg. neg. camber up front (cause thats all I could get), with the front wheels towed out 3/32". The rear is towed in 1/16" and I'm using around 42psi in the front tires and around 40 or 46psi in the rear. This and about 7 years of experience helps to make for some fast times. I am a strong believer in the fact that there is no substitute for experience so I would recomend to any one that they should race as often as possible. The more ya race, the faster you become. On a down side, my car had a broken rear spring and a bad motor mount at the event and also developed a valvetrain knock after the runs at the event and an oil light that started coming on in hard right hand corners. I have since retired the car from racing. frown
