Saw these names on old results from Spring Zing '01 autocross. Are these guys CEGers? I know Evan is E1Evan. These were the guys who broke the 40 second mark. What mods/auto-x experience?

Don Lipinski is part of our club, but has sold his black SVT to Icey Mike. Don auto-x a lot with his car... had Ground controls and some suspension work done to the car... That is all I know...

Steve, right, Don had the second fastest time at 38.161 behind Ken Courtland in a modified SE V-6 (I assume) who had a 38.018. Wondered what wheels, tires, shocks, sway bars and tire pressures they ran. Icey Mike, you still got the same tires/wheels Don ran at Spring Zing? Are Ground Control's coilovers? How low can you get the car for autocross?

Lee's SE was completely stock except for tires IIRC. He was just a great driver.

Ok dudes, sorry to burst your bubble but. Ken is a real good friend of mine. I bought MY Contour because of his. We went to our first solo 2 race about 5 years ago. He's a natural at it. He is currently racing in Chi-town now . His car is a 95 Se (for Sale). It had a broke rear spring and a bad motor mount when he raced that day. (no lie) He is just good.
Yankeyspeed: American power and ingenuity 95 SE -Stock enough Yeah my car has a baby seat, its still fast.

Since we're talking about SZ 01 autoX times, though I can't remember the EXACT time, Rick Evans with a STOCK 93 SHO pulled a 39.3 or thereabouts at SZ 01...he was the fastest SHO there (as well as one of the fastest overall) and the only SHO to break 40 seconds. Mind you, that was with a 93 MTX, original stock suspension with 150,000 + miles and street tires! See...these "big sedans" really do handle well, all things considered. Of course Rick is a great driver too
