I've watched the video about 100 times. Normal speed and slow motion, forwards and backwards. It's not easy seeing a car that looks just like your own go flipping through the air like that. From what I can tell, it looks as if as soon as the right wheels drifted off the track surface, it was inevitable that you were going to wreck. The first sign that there was a problem came when you see this big puff of dirt and immediately the whole right side of the car left the ground like you hit a skate board ramp or something. About a second and a half goes by between that moment and when the car comes to a rest after the double rollover. There must have been some kind of bump in the runoff area that caused the right side of the car to launch like it did. You might want to have a look-see...maybe the track owner is negligent in some way. Curious as to what tires you were running... Sorry for your loss. I know how much I love my car...so I truly feel your pain.

What about tracking down a used SVT?? Or another car that is as much pleasure to drive? (Sorry I hate the Foci.. think its ugly as sin and disposable.)

I am sorry if this sounds bad I have been thinking about this ever since I saw you video... I have to applaud you for hanging on to that helmet. I would have beaten that thing off the ground, the tire wall and anyone who came near me, then chucked it as far away as I could. Never to be seen again.

No reason to feel bad at all. Heck it was all I could do to not wing that thing as hard as I could. I maintained my cool while at the track. Once I got home though, I made sure to kick the car nice and hard! I figured there were so many times I wnated to before, I better take adavantage of the situation while I could!

I've witnessed one other CSVT rollover on the track. I forgot the guys name but it was T-Red..he had konins and some type of spring and a 4 pt harness. I think the borla exhaust too. not too reassuring when I was the only other CSVT there.
Is there another link?..none of those seem to be working for me
