The event organizers (and track owner)should have known better than to use such a track for full-sized cars in Solo II. It was literally an accident waiting to happen. Is yours the only car that has ever left course? I doubt that, and the fact that you were lowered should have made it even harder to roll...unless you had so much spring stiffness that it somehow contributed to the rollover???
I'm impressed that lowering and coilovers shaved 3 seconds off Buckshot's time, especially because the length of the course can't be that long, nor the corresponding lap time. That is probably a better time reduction than achievable with autocross tires which bodes well for similarly-equipped cars in STS.
This unfortunately was not the first accident nor probably the last. Off track excursions are somewhat common, but not usually serious. As far as I know there has been one other car the flipped there and one that shot off course do to a stuck throttle but that is it for serious accidents.
I went back and checked. The lap time of my last event their was 76.62 and the one timed lap at this was 74.71. So roughly a 2 second gain instead of the 3 second I originally thought. But, my car also had room for improvement as I only got one run in on the new suspension and it was a fairly crappy run.
