Funny everybody wants to be in STS. With Philly region SCCA STS is full of hoped up Subaru's. In GS it's just a matter of seeing how many Type R's and WRX's show up and I know what spot I'm going to come in. I occasionally sneak past one of the slower WRX's. I'm not sure modifiying my car into STS will improve me enough to be competitive (in STS). One of these days when I buck up for some competition rubber and improve my driving I really think I could be right on the heals of the Type R's but maybe I'm being optimistic. :-)
No offense, I could dominate the STS class here in NJ, and yes we get a bunch of Philly people up here too. But being on the heals of the type-r's??? I doubt it, you might though ya never know. BTW, I am on R compound tires and they are still 2-3 seconds faster. Slowests ones I'm about to start passing but the faster ones?? No way in hell.
