Heres another question. I read the GS rules and it says that mods to the exhaust downstream of header OR cat (if so equiped) are OK, but no change to cats.
How about the MSDS Y-pipe (installing soon). The cats are all stock (not doing the headers now). It would be legal apparently if not for the cat to do a Y-pipe. I would think the spirit of the rule would say OK. But, what would the officials likely say? So far, I have just the drop in K&N, & Bassini catback - everything else stock.
