In autocross you generally want to make your car more unstable than you would if you were running at higher speeds on a race track. I think disconnecting the front anti-roll bar at a practice event would be a good experiment (and one that I'm going to try), but I think it would be going too far in the right direction. If you want to try this, disconnect both sides and wire it up out of the way.

Without any experimental basis for this opinion, I think a 13 to 15mm front anti-roll bar will be the hot ticket for this car. Ideally an adjsutable bar with a similar kind of adjustment range would be great.

The Quaiffe diff is what we need to make this car work out of corners. Until you put one in and make the commitment to run in DSP, you have to use your right foot to reduce the corner exit understeer.

Regarding shocks... if you have the money I'm pretty sure triple adjustable Penske 8760s will be available for the Contour SVT and maybe the SHO sometime next year. They will be very, very expensive and are not a strut insert (the whole strut tube, spring perches, etc. are replaced). Again, this is just speculation on my part and nothing may actually occur.
