Just wanted to let you guys know that I have the software from odb-2.com and I am having major problems with it. Have been in contact with Alex (the developer) on a regular basis but to no avail. It will not work when the car is running and he doesn't know why. So far, all people with '98 and prior Contours are fine, but my 98.5 is no good. I can connect with engine off, but that kind of defeats the purpose of having it.

A couple of questions first. Is it the scanner or is it software for a palm? Also, will this work on a 1995 Ford Contour? If so, I'd be interested depending on the price of course.

There might be some problems with it working right with the Edge, Bill. Looks like you might need a special convertor cable, if it'll work at all. Check with the OBDScan folks to see what, exactly, you'd need.
