For those interested in measurements...
With the bar installed in the proper position it sits approximately 13-13.5" from the trunk floor...to the bottom of the bar. Because the cruddy trunk floor piece bows down towards the middle there IS some 'give' in the usable space. My sub box is just over 13" tall and *just* fits underneath the bar
in the center.
