Please be patient on the price...piece price is lower the more you get but 4 shocks & springs are heavy and are flown over so dont base your numbers on just the exchange rate......

So let me get this straight. The drop is 40mm all around? That's 1.6" all around? Will bottoming out be a real issue? i want these but would still like to drive the car!

Geesh, I didn't mean to scare everybody... smile

40mm is more like 1.57" but I rounded up. You're looking at 1 and 9/16 inches, or just a hair past an inch and a half. About 1/2" lower than the BAT kit all around. About 1/4" lower than Eibach in front, 1/2" lower in back. About 1/4" lower than H&R in back, but not as low in front.

There's some people around here running 2.25" drops, but not without tradeoffs.

I measured my car last night, and it looks like even at 40mm, the tires will not be "tucked" although the visual gap will be very small. It is a level drop, so it may look to some as though the back is a bit droopy. I'm a little concerned that I will drag my Borla tips on some steep driveways, but I'm thinking about cutting those off, anyway.

I'm not browbeating everybody (or you, Tony), just trying to put things in perspective, which I hope is helpful. I, too, am a little concerned about the drop, and I sure wouldn't want to go any lower.

while we are talking about, i want to take the opprotunity to ask my stupid question for the month....i got 18's, 215 wide......when there are 4 people in my car, and i hit a dip or bump, the back will bottom out......will this be cured with stiffer springs? i dont often have 4 people in my car, but wouldnt stiffer springs stop the car from "bouncing" or "rocking" like factory springs do? thanks.

You still running stock suspension? If your car is "bouncy," it sounds like your stock dampers are reaching the end. I also don't see why, unless your dampers are worn, you would be bottoming out just because you have 4 people in the car. I've carried lots of weight in people and cargo before, and never had that issue. Are you sure it's not the tires rubbing?

Stiffer dampers and springs should help. The Koni kit in question even comes with bumpstops, in case there's still a problem wink .

Sounds like you need new dampers, at least.

Ride height...This kit drops an ST200 20mm......The ST200 has the same ride height as the SVT ...correct????On a Non-SVT its a 40mm drop......are we on the same page? Because the ST200 and SVT are lower than 'stoc' to start with......

Terry, if that's the case, then the early SE should be in the same boat as the SVT and ST200...correct?
