He PM'ed me that it has the 408 gear I assume that meant 4.08 FD Ratio? Isn't that the zetec ford motorsport FD ratio? Not sure how this would effect duratec's under 250hp, Buckshot77 is running the zetec gears cause he has so damn much power. COuld someone enlighten me on the switch to the new tranny manufacturer and tell me the differences? Thanks!

OK I have no idea what I'm talking about. The thing I was thinking of was the 4.06:1 ring and pinion gear that SCC installed on thier focus to help with the tall stock gears. I think we need a expert here to help with what were buying.

The Zetec final drive (gears) are ok...but the actual tranny would not hold up.....get us a part number.
Just call me Judge.

Just look at the transmissions or post a pic,if the oblong slot is at around 2 o/clock on the bellhousing its V6,if no slot its Zetec...

I called the other day,Tom was out,got his buddy,he said he was sure they were Focus MTX75's = Zetec fit only............

Can you retrofit to fit a V6 terry? Just wondering cause I'd like to get one and have it shipped right to youfor a quaife install at the minimum. Thanks

they are all duratec,or so the guy sais i got them from
they are in rout via trucking company will be here tues. or wed.
but he sais they are all v6 mtx-75

Tom, I'd like to see a pic to be sure they are V6,no the cases change between V6 & Zetec and FD ratio changes.....
