SCHWINNG

Thanks to all who paid, even if it was at the last minute.

And especially thanks to Terry for being the middle man for us on this.

Now, one last set of questions:

The backing plates that come with the bar, are these still being broken under hard use if only bolted on? If so the backing plates should be welded on, right? Are the included p[lates able to be welded in, or should I buy the plates that Aussie (Anastazzi) is selling to be welded in?

And finally, my end links are shot, (the bushings/washers actually.) Should I buy the end links from Performance Fords or wait for the adjustable links mentioned many months ago during the first Aussie bar group buy? Will the adjustables be available by the time the bars ship?

Thanks again Terry,
Dave

An update on my Aussie bar with Upgraded plates. Ok as said earlier, I bolted them instead of welding them. I drove over a bad set of RR tracks, clunkity clunk. Ripped the bracket right off.

So I drove to no less than 8 places to get them to weld the plate on the passenger side, and "Fix" / Weld the plate on the drivers side. It was a pain. 7 People didn't want to touch it.

Excuses: Liability, goto Ford, too near the Gas tank, won't hold, get a new Ford part, go away, where is you catylitic converter...

So finally, the guy did some "Afro-engineering". He said what is that worth to ya?
I said $20 but here is $10.
He smiled and asked me to come back for the custom exhaust. So I will go back to him for the exhaust work.

I didn't want to race around gingerman with no rear sway bar.

My advice, Don't drive on a non-welded Aussie bar!!!
