Regarding your Deposits! All deposits sit in a non-interest incurring account. So as deposits come in they sit there until either, 1) I have decided that there has been enough interest to deem the project a go and that may be before the 40 minimum deposits. 2) I receive the minimum of 40 deposits. If, let's say in a month, if it takes that long, I don't see any worth in moving forward, everyone in the buy-in would be sent back there deposit wink

Again only those in the buy-in will get any discounts or promotional offers........Micah

Man you must be planning on using one hell of an industrial Blower if you need a 65mm on a 2.0 laugh

If the Focus people are using 65mm, why not me?

Should I start a new thread? I really don't want to take the focus away from such a kick-butt TB. Thanks for the help tho!

BTW, after I sell my Honda, my 'tour will have cost me a grand total of $1500. I've still got $10k to put into it!! laugh

...where did I put that lottery ticket...

My brother has a supercharged ZX3 and we have a Zetec head-Contour- so we have been comparing:
Here is what I found out so far:
1) The 65mm TB is from Focus Central .. they don't have a web site but are an offshoot of a Mustang group ( More as I find out)
2) The Focus Zetec head and the Contour Zetec head are different : a) Ports and
b) location of studs is different on intake side ... did you know you have variable cam timing?? according to Ford CD anyway
3) My brothers Focus TB appears to have a different bolt pattern than my SVT .. we will check further if I can find a Zetec Contour TB maybe as soon as this weekend ...
4) it also appears as if you can swap heads out and use all of the Focus aftermarket Intake manifolds and headers .... Super Chargers, Turbos ... Contact me thru PM or at

I am still talking with jj about the Focus TB, but if it dosn't pan out, could you make one for us Zetecers?

BTW, jj got me drooling over the thought of a Focus head swap. Focus intake and exhaust manifolds, BAT piston and cams, AND Esslinger oversized valves and camshaft. That would be sooo sweet. I might not need a turbo after all of that. ...yeah, right...

I started a thread in the Zetec forum if anyone wants to discuss the heads swap issues.

Guy's I may actually go with one of my other Distributors for the Throttle Body. This company, which I'll leave annonomys, builds motors for the PRO 5.0 Class, racers like Doug Mangrum (6second Mustang) and after talking over my plans he told me that he can produce a much better TB than my other counterpart, this one with Stainless Steal Fittings, with the already Billet Aluminum. There process is done in House and there designed down to exacting tolerances. The key in a TB design is a proper Radius, and they've got that down to a science. They've flow benched against equal sized CNC TB's and have found as much as 25cfm more due to a proper radius in the TB. There TB is used in the Renegade class where there are limits in TB size and this allows them to stay within rules and still get more AF! This hasn't changed the plans to make a TB in anyway, Thanks wink
