Approximately this will be done? I can do it if I won't have to come up with the balance (less the $40) until mid to late April. What about Extrude Hone and port matching? Do I have to get it done at the same time I get the TB?

Actually this whole thing lies in the hands of your fellow CEG/NECO members! I cannot really say how long. If I received 40 deposits by tommorrow, I can tell them to go ahead and start producing. I'm hoping that people will start to catch on. You don't get to much support in the Contour Community, even NECO and as long as it's that way performance products will always seem to skip our page. Let's hope it's not the case. I've already received one Deposit, that's the start, Now 39 more. You would figure with 1000's of people here looking for that performance edge, 40 is a number to MOCK at, but I have continued to be amazed!!! Oh Well Patience I guess confused

Just one question, will this fix the "throttle hang" on our cars? If so, I may be interested also.
Thanks for helping us out!

Even if it did, I wouldn't want to sell you a $200 TB just to cure your 'Hang,' I'd tell you go to your parts store grab a copper cap fitting drill a hole and be on your way if it really did bother you!!!

On the other hand, if increasing, optimizing the flow of incoming air into your 2.5 as what you seek, this will help solve part of that equation. Oh and NO it won't cure the TH! frown wink

I am very interested in the 65mm tb. Just wondering if u were gonna use the same setup as the svt or not.

Is there any way they might be able to incorporate some kind of coolant line that runs through it to get rid of some of the heat? I know a lot of other cars have that. I'm fairly sure the Contour's TB gets pretty darn hot.

The TB will be designed off the SVT version.

Chris you know I never thought of that. The thing I'm worried about is jacking up the cost of the product. We could consider Jet Hot Coating and/or a phenolic spacer into the equation. Chris PM me and give me the low down on such a design, I may inquire of it. Thanks wink

The only modifications that will need to be made for maximum benefits is port matching your UIM which can be easily done with a Dremel
From what I understand, the UIM intake is already 65mm...
Comments...
Also a thin phenolic spacer would be a great idea.

I might be very interested, but I need ot sit on it for a day..
