NO....you guys misunderstood me!
I was having problems getting the donor hood due to high shipping costs.
that $213 is the price we are paying for the donor hood. and there will be no shipping cost because the place i'm getting if from is right down the street from the shop that is getting the CF hoods made for us.
The final hood price, from what i've been told is gonna be in the $300 ballpark, maybe a little less maybe a little more....won't know till after the mold is made

300 is a great price for a carbon fibre hood  So, if I understand this whole thing right, I dont have to get this baby painted?

No you don't have to paint it. Form pics i've seen and what they have told me it has 8 coats of clearcoat on top of the CF. ITs a very shine finish. looks really nice.
