To answer the question on the windshield washer nozzles.

the hoods do not come with holes for the sprayers.
now i don't know much about carbon fiber, but it might be possible to drill you own holes for these.

about the gas bonnet lifters...2 things:

first i don't know what the support frame looks like under the hood, so i don't know if there is anything to attach the bonnet lifters too.

second....even if it was possible to attach them i would not use them.
From what i've read about carbon fiber it need full support when the hood is open so it doesn't warp.
the bonnect lifters attach to the hood about half way up from the windshield which would give no support to the front of the hood.
I read that you shouldn't use the stock hood prop either because it only supports one side.
that is why at car shows you see people with 2 springs holding the hood open halfway.

I'm not sure if my info is fully correct, but its just waht i have read/heard.

To everyone who has sent me their payment,

thank you for being patient.

I haven't deposited the money yet. I'm still holding on it until i get all the payments, just in case we don't get enough and i have to send them back.

I talk to one person yesterday who is sending, and a few more by email that seemed interested, so hopefully we will have all the money by Friday or monday.

I'll keep you updated.
3 more and we will be good to go...anymore over that and it will just reduce the shipping & final hood cost prices

RubberDucky,
The area where the pad meets the rotors has washed away the 'zinc' washing. I was under the impression the zinc coating remained there for the duration of the rotor, which it HAS for the unswept area; as for the swept area, yup, the front rotor no langer has the bright zinc coating. The rear rotors still have it, but since I've got different pads on the rear, that might have something to do with it. It might be the carb-mett friction pads Baer uses with the front setup that rubs the zinc coating off or just covers it.

Did you guys know that by reducing the weight of a car in front of the steering column, you are effectively reducing the overall weight of the car by 8lbs/1lb reduction. So, if these hoods are as light as they should be, we'd be shaving off 30lbs of weight in the front, which will feel like 240lbs overall. Sweet. . . :p
