I'll go in on a hood if I can pick it up myself. I just think it's stupid as hell to have the hood shipped up to you, then right back down to me. So if they'll let me pick it up, I'm sure I can find $400 lying around somewhere. Let me know.

AND you got one more... I've been waiting forever, but I want a Black CF Hood for a 99 SVT.

the more the merrier, more people= cheaper for everyone. This will make it just under $400 a person. Showtime's doing the leg work so when he gets this going he will let us know when to do what. Lets go showtime, lets get this started now.

OK here's the news...we now have enough people to do this at a reasonable cost to everyone.
what i need right now is $95
This will cover the price of the donor hood, and shipping it to florida, and the molding fee.

Kool & Ash, don't worry about getting the hood from Bill, i already have that in the works.

As soon as you guy can get me the money the sooner we can get this going.

Wavrdr...I'll find out if you can pick the hood up from them...the only thing is that i'm not sure if they get manufactured in Miami. When we send them the hood they will have to send it to their factory that makes the molds, so i'm not sure if they will me shipping the hoods from the factory, or the shop. The guy told me that its easier for them to do one big pallet size shipment.

I'm sure shipping won't be to bad anyway. I'm going to pay for the cost to have them ship the hoods to me, and you guys will just pay the cost of me shipping the hood to you.

I'm going to call the company today and let them know that we are definately going to do this...and get all the details laid out.
As of now i think we only need the $95 and then we will pay the $300 once the mold has been made, but i will find out the definate times on when money is due.

I talked with the company today....

They need the molding fee as soon as possible, so when they get the hood in the mail they can send it overseas to the factory.
So thats not a problem...once i get the money from you i'll pay the molding fee and then then pay Bill Jenkins for the wholesale hood, so they will have the molding fee $ before the hood gets to them.

Also.... I tried to confirm the $300 and the time they need it with the boss...but he said they won't know until after the mold is made. They will contact me as soon as the mold is complete and let me know the price...he said its definately in the $300 ballpark, could end up a little less could end up a little more. if everyone confirms, ordering 12 hoods at once will probably help in keeping the price low.

i figure its definately worth it since no one else but us is going to have this hood.

One question... I want one of these but cannot afford it right now. After all this is done can others still order the hood since they will still have the mold for it? Thanks.
