to answer some questions
They told me the turn around time from when they get the donor hood and molding fee to when they ship the hoods is like 1-2 month. then add another week for me to mail them to you.

as of now its only 98+ hoods...if we can get this to work then i will try to work out a deal for a pre-98 hood.

Also..I say this again...no scopes/vents etc... this is just a OEM replacement.

right now we have the 5 people..thats enough to get it made, but personally i don't want to have to split the cost of the donor hood and molding fee 5 ways...10ways would be much easier on the pocket. So I'm hoping that we can get 5 more people interested soon.

also remember that these hoods come with a 1yr warrenty...most companies don't offer a warrenty at all....and about the price being low...that is because were getting a group rate.
After we get this done they will manufacture this hood on a regular basis and it will be in the $399-$499 range like all the others.

any of you guys have junkyards near you that you can check the price of a hood?
or any other connections on getting a hood?
I emailed Bill Jenkins about the price on a wholesale hood, but i haven't heard back from him yet...i'll let you know the price as soon as i hear from him.

I check three junk yards here On LI and no hoods just one 95 Hood.I'll be Hitting the City this weekend.

so thats $380 plus splitting donor hood price (whatever that maybe) and shipping cost from me to you, unless you live near Pittsburgh and want to pick it up.

with the people we have now we're looking at
$300 (hood)
$134 (molding fee)
so thats $434 plus donor hood & shipping.
not to bad but splitting it 10 way would be nicer.
