I am interested, but I am not committing. I have seen so many variable levels of quality in CF hoods that I would only buy after having seen it live & in person on a Contour. It may cost me extra or exclude me from this part, but I'm not willing to take a chance without proof on this one.......

We should at least put some vents in the hood.. I know a functional scoop will be too much work.. If we had like 3 rectangular vents across the top of the hood (near the windshield) that would be easy to do. Similiar to the 3 vents on the preditor hood, but put them at the top.. Underhood temps would drop dramtically... Please consider this when you speak to the guy again... I just think we should kill 2 birds with one stone here...

I am also worried about quality. As cheap as these are going to be, they cant have tons of carbon fiber in them. But as long as they have a good finish and a good clearcoat, that will be fine for me because they are the only ones around at the moment. And who knows maybe no one else will ever get around to making them. So Im in as long as their half decent. So lets get this going. Oh and while im at it, whats the difference between the two cf patterns that you mentioned. is it going to be about the same as street-concepts sail panels? Anyway, we need more people now. I want this before summer gets here! Sorry for ramblings!

PRE-98 all the way baby. I swear, if I don't get a new hood soon.......I'd send my hood, but it's kinda sorta dented.....So let's get some pre-98 action in, and let's make sure this is a good hood, not some half-done job.

I'm in if we get over 10 people for the hood. I think $375 is fair for my portion and then $50 more to ship. So we need to pay for the mold/hood up front and we get a model that someone near the Miami area can inspect to ensure quality is job 1.
Any estimate on shipping? by the pallet and then Fed-Ex Ground to the west coast?
