The legal issues have been stated already. No need to make up statistics. I think people have been informed of the risks, and will make their decision accordingly.

BTW, is there a material restriction on gifts that I am not aware of?

No way. I never actually saw mine uninstalled, so I didn't check. I am trying to think if I ever saw parts (besides little chip caps and resistors) that didn't have a P/N on it. Been too long ...

Haven't got mind on yet, as soon as I get brave to loosen the bolt without turning the crankshaft backwards/ invest in the proper puller. that fall off the ladder last year and the age of 55 has severely slowed me down.

I'm not a regular CEG member but as a NECO member for the last 3 years, I've always been impressed by the advice and support that Terry has given us. I don't think we realize how lucky we are that an engineer that has participated in the development of our cars takes time out to answer our questions, give us sound advice, and on top of that, brings in or develops great parts for our cars. There isn't very many user groups out there that have the luxury such a person as an active member. To me, Terry is Mr. CDW-27. It would be a real shame if he is driven away.

As for my personal business dealings with Terry, I've only ordered an Aussie bar from him. It was one of the extra ones that he had left from the last batch. The whole process took just 11 or 12 business days from me sending out the money order to me receiving the bar in the mail. And I'm in Canada so I'm sure that if I was a US resident, it would have been even faster. And the price was awesome. I paid approx $200USD total for the part, shipping, duty, taxes, and brokerage fees. I have a friend, in Canada, who ordered an inferior bar for his Golf IV from Neuspeed and paid $300USD just for the part. With all the other fees added on to it, it came out to over double what I paid for my Aussie bar. Plus, it took him 8 weeks to get it too. Terry also answered every question that I had and I have to say that I've dealt with many aftermarket companies over the years and Terry's service ranks among the very top.

Thanks Terry.
