I visited a local shop (Speedware Motorsports) about making a harness bar for the Contour. Of course, anything is possible, if you have the money.
They told me that it would take some 'major' work to make one fit. At $75 an hour and $299 for the bar, the cost has put this beyond my interest.
Maybe sometime in the future, an engineer at my work, can help me design something that would work for our cars. I figure if someone made a proto-type of the bar, and brought it to a shop to make, the cost would be easier on the wallet.
Anyway, I'll add it to the project list...
