I for one think that you're making sense. At 6.2 I am not a tall person but like to recline my seat fairly far back. I would have come to the conclusion that I can't get one to fit my driving "style."i saw someone's car on altimas.net with a bar mounted on the floor behind the drivers seat....maybe that would work for someone who needs to put the seat back a bit
