15, even 20 bucks should be easy enough to ask for. just say when and to who.

Sounds good to me! I just upgraded our expired UBB.classic license to UBB.Threads. That'll get us compression-on-the-fly forums, saving mucho, mucho bandwidth. Just look at http://www.contour.org/usage and compare the hits/KB usage of ultimatebb.php vs. ultimatebb.cgi. Compression is saving us a lot of bandwith when displaying cached pages. I'll initially coordinate the effort of fundraising. Stand by... -Lance

don't call it a member ship fee but a suggested donation for member ship, or something on those lines. Say the range is between $10 and $25 a year, I would think most people could handle that for what we get

Why don't you ask for a $10 to $15 dollar donation from everyone. Maybe even grant a new member status to those who donate (Bronze CEG'r, Silver CEG'r, Gold CEG'r, Platinum CEG'r, etc.) with a certain range of money donated dedicated to each level. Donations wouldn't be required, so it wouldn't be a buisness, but it would make the people who do donate feel like they are getting recognized somehow... and maybe even get them to donate more, just to reach that Gold level or whatever. Anyway, if the original $10 or $15 doesn't raise enough in a week or 2, then ask for more. [EDIT]378 posts and I FINALLY just own3d my first page 2! [/EDIT]

If we found it, we'd warn them, and then if we found it again, they got 0wn3d. Judging from the price of the service though, it seems like you can do whatever you want Just cover your butt and make sure though!Rynn, There aren't any problems with that! I asked the don't block any ports and assuming I don't do port scans and pass viruses, we are pretty much unmettered! -Andy
