I know this must be a stupid question but what is the difference between the driving lights and the fog lights, and also what is the color of light given off by each...??

the yellows are more of a flood light, they're disperesed widely. the white ones are a beam, more like a projector. however, they really help vision at night on the road. just don't point them up too high otherwise you'll blind oncoming traffic. they're both fine for fog, arguably the yellow (crystal ion) are better for fog but i don't see a difference (roommate has them, i have the white).

Isn't the white light more reflected back from snow and fog ? Is Yellow are any good for good weather driving in complete dark when you just want to add extra light ? I can't decide which one i want

I can't decide which one i want [/b]theoretically you are correct, however the difference is minimal. like i said i've seen both as i have the white and my roommate has the yellow. the yellow are very bright as well but they do not shine as far. the whites light up the road probably 3x better than the yellow. i think the yellow would look great if you have bluish headlights or HID's, it'd give it that IS300 look. however, i went with PIAA superwhites in my headlights as well, to match the fogs. its your decision, either one is a great light. i got the whites because i was not overly impressed with the yellow, they didn't light up the road nearly as much. i do like the color though, for aesthetics (sp??).

I bet you wouldn't say that if you live here in Buffalo. I drove in times before where I had to turn off the headlights because the headlights shined up all the snow and I couldn't see as good as with just the parking light! If the PIAA driving light is brighter than the headlight, it'll definitely be a bad idea to use it as a real fog light.
I'm still thinking whether I should get into this GB because my stock bracket is gone and no one said for sure if I can mount them without the bracket.

you would have to rig up something to install the fogs if you don't have the stock bracket. would probably take some time to do. your best would be to find a replacement bracket. i saw someone on ebay selling a bunch of used tour parts. maybe he'll sell you one if he has it. as for the snow, we don't get too much here so i don't know too much about that. we do get dense fog every now and again and that's pretty much the only good experiences i've had with the two different lights. i tell ya one thing, if ya get the yellow ones, and it snows, its gonna look like a whole lot of piss on the ground! (yellow snow!!! )
