superwhites are fine in the fog, and have nothing to do with driving in a straight line. they're not that pencil pointed lol. there is no 893/885 out there that even comes close to the brightness of the piaa 510s. ive had mine installed for probably about 6 months. i got mine in the last group buy, don't remember what i paid though. personally i don't like the ion crystal ones that much. my roommate has them, and while it does look good oncoming, it doesn't really help his vision much at night, well not even close to that of mine. the reason i got the superwhites is because i wanted more light up front so i could see better. with the piaa's on, i can't even tell when my headlights are on/off, that's how bright they are.
