I never would have thought of that
 :p

I asked about sending over the front and rear bumpers and headlights. Still they would not budge. The were very concerned about fit and finish of their products and did not want a half a$$ed job with their names on it. If they did allow this and they didnt fit, the minimum order was above 20 sets, which then means someone would eat the $8000.00 USD loss and I'm not that hungry wink

If you could get the non HID's to the 300 to 400 range I woudl seriously consider them. HID's under 600 would possibly be worth the cash too but I don't know if I want to be getting pulled over all the time. laugh Anyway even if the projector headlights that Chris is/was working on would be worth the effort as the current headlights really suck.

I would be very interested in a kit for my SVT.

My expectation would be that it would provide superior lighting to the OEM model, both in terms of brightness, projection, and range.

Additionally, the fit and finish would have to be as good as, if not better than the OEM model.

Lastly, I like the look of the Morette kit - different, but not overly juvenile or gaudy in appearance.

I wonder if a solution (for both early and late models) would be to develop a replacement lens which would allow for a mounting of new lights into the old housing. I am sure someone who had some time on their hands and was a good design/builder type could crank this out.

Aren't there some CEG'ers in the military that are stationed in Europe? Would they drive to UK and drop theirs off and have this done?

BTW, stock pre-98 lights are only $85 each. $400 does sound a bit too much. Maybe $250 - $300. I'm interested in getting these lights though.
