Thanks for the hard work Bill.

Not upset with you if any way (we'd never have any mats without your effort!), but maybe you could give us the address for "Falcon" and we could show them our appreciation for changing stuff right in the middle. wink
That seems like a pretty horsh!t way to do business IMO...

Bill,
I have no problem with waiting until they get it right. Things happen. I hope that you can get the problem worked out with your supplier. Jake

Bill,
I'll wait until you get a good match on the minnight blues. My fronts are in sad shape, but it's a daily driver. Just want some good ones to put in for car shows/meets. Stand firm with the supplier, what was delivered should have matched the sample exactly!

Things are starting to look good for us, he senT a mat that had the correct binding color. I then sent another SVT mat that I had to do a color match. Here is what some of our emails said.

Hello Bill,

It looks like the next step will be to work with the carpet mill and get the
correct color for you. I will give them the sample mat you sent for color
matching. Once we get a color sample I will send it to you for approval and
sign off.

The owner of the company is considering your suggestion of keeping the mats
to be sold at a discount. Hang on to them for now.

Rest assured that we will cover all freight charges from this point on.

I'll be in touch soon.

Grant,

I got your Binding sample the other day, the binding really looks good. But the problem is that the carpet itself is still to grayish in color. I had 2 people test them in there car and I personally looked at one myself. Once they are in the vehicle, you can certainly see the difference. You should still have the sample I sent to you last week, can you do a test on that color. The sample patch you sent me is even closer to the original color then the production mats were.

So what do we do now then? If I have to return these to get the new color, how are we going to handle shipping and such. What are the costs going to be, and if possible, I might be able to sell these ones at a discount, and still sell them the newer correct color ones, that's if you are willing to make a deal on them, if not then I will send them back.

Thanks for your patience with this.

Here's what we would like to try. We will make up a mat with correct bluish
binding color and send it to you via next day air. Check it in a car and see
if it changes the appearance of the mat.

If this corrects the problem we will bring the mats back, immediately rebind
them and send them back to you.

If you feel the color is still not satisfactory I would like you to send a
sample of the exact color required. When trying to match interior carpeting
the best way is to take a cutting of the actual interior carpet from a hidden
area. Two places that work well are under the dashboard or under a seat.

We will then go through the sample process until you are happy with the color.

Hopefully it is the greenish tint of the binding that is throwing things off
but we will do whatever is necessary to take care of you and your customers.

Regards,

Grant McCormick
