Probably been 6 months or more since he appeared.

$$$ You forgot to throw in the comment about the new brake system you will be needing. The wimpy stock brakes are NOT going to stop the car if you stomp the brakes at over 150mph, even if you upgrade to performance pads. Been there, done that!!! You will need the same type brakes that they put on the Porches and Ferraris.

Anyway, if he has one running already, what harm would it do to show a bit of Chris's install? Obviously this guy has his own setup already locked in, so showing Chris's system would not compromise anything....

If the "Florida car" is the one I remember seeing, I don't think too many people will want the "Frankenstein" look. That car was ugly. Lots of the body work was missing in front, either for necessity or because they hadn't gotten around to fitting it back on. Seems like any power gain they saw would be lost on the worse aerodynamics of the body. Karl

And what's all the hubbub, bub. Everybody here seems so hyped up about the turbo, why didn't y'all order the supercharger (for over $1000 less), when it came out months ago? Okay, so it pumps out a few less horses, but it seems a lot less hassle, less "replacement" parts, and no deposit. Pay, install and go. You're not going to go any faster top end no matter which version you go with, even with the diablo chip. 7500 rpm is the end. And with all the extra tire spin you'll get with the extra 10hp from the turbo, you won't make it down the track any quicker either. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing your turbo, I'm only trying to open the eyes of all the readers as to some of their other options, and some limitations of their dreams.

so do you know the diffrence between turbo and supercharged. two diffrent ways of forced air unburnt fuel and no drag all come in to affect. if you ever felt turbo you'd be a believer too. super is okay but turbo god thats a totally diffrent feeling.

Obviously you are not up to speed on all the issues the S/C has are you? I would be willing to say that over 3/4 of the S/C owners have had major problems at one time or another. It hasn't only been out for months either, it has been out for years.

Since this thread is old, and the turbo kit consists of a few different things I am closing it. There will be a new thread opening soon when we are taking payments for the finished product.
You will notice there is a new thread opened up in the "Forced Induction" section.
Thanks,
