I'm sorry, i was considering buying a "rice-runner" but i have been saved thanks to the promise of power coming my contour's way. Consider my deposit on the way, thank you!

Hey Chris, I have a ?, I'm not sure if it was asked but with so many posts on this and other Turbo Post I'm not cut out at the time to look. You said the Turbo will work with a 2.5 xhaust system. If this is so, that would mean my Bassani is not cut out for the job, neither is the Y! It's clear to me that 2.5" will optimize the use of the Turbo, so I'm curious, If we need 2.5" just about every person will need to trash (sell) there stock or aftermarket xhaust to meet the required diameter right? Will there be a xhaust system optional to the Turbo of 2.5" or will every person need to take there car to a local xhaust shop to get one made? Mahalo, Ioane Micah

Mahalo, Ioane Micah Micah, our initial recommendation will be to go with 2.5" to 3" from the cat back. We do have a Bassani setup and will test to see if there is excessive back pressure. Since we all know that turbocharging makes the engine produce a LOT more exhaust gas, bigger exhaust is going to be better. We are going to highly recommend at least getting rid of the stock resonator. -Chris

I can't see a y pipe in this set up?
If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

Strike my comment! It must have been to late for me, wasn't thinking. I realized today, it's gonna be a single exhaust, not duals. Since this is the case, are u reccomending 3" single out, no cats no res? I actually would love the look of only a single pipe coming out the back. I'll have one of the exhaust cutouts out back covered up and painted! I think that would look *****en. I actually rather have a single, I love the look.

Three inch would be great (that's what I am doing) but you can go out to two mufflers. Maybe 3" to the "Y" in the rear, then split to two 2.5" pipes to the two mufflers. Check out the thread in "Performance" for the Edelbrock Performer RPM series mufflers with free-flow design. Good muffling and little resistance.

Naw, I'll stick to the single setup I like it better, but thanks. Plus now I'll try and make as little bends as possible in the piping and I'll take the same route as the Duals setup, the Turbo should love me for that. Chris as soon as I can swindle that $500, I'm gonna fork it off to SF for a downpayment. Aint easy when I just bought another car for the lady...But don't worry it's a cummin!!!
