chris i plan on buying the turbo kit...but not until this summer when i have all my money together. i would put a down payment on it right now, however the car is under my dads name so he technically owns it. he said get the money first then will talk about modding HIS CAR with the 3.0L/turbo.

Well Chris once again I called both numbers and no answer just recording with no return call back. I like to place the deposit so if you know a way over internet by card I can post it. leaving to go offshore. later Come guys let put deposit down now pay later , we have 3-4 months to pay on it not worth letting this huge breakthrough fail production. Chris keeps us updated on how much you lacking maybe I can pitch some more.

We are well into week number two of the announcement. For those of you that are thinking of doing this, PLEASE contact me with any questions that might be holding you back for putting down the deposit. I would also like to stress how important that inital deposit is. For one, it helps offset the development costs to the manufacturer (Street Flight) and two, it shows the manufacturer (Street Flight) what the genuine interest in getting this kit made is. Thanks, -Chris

I think that the main problem is probably that most people, although interested, want to see that it will perform and be reliable before sending their money. I for one am very interested, but a number of factors are holding me back, like exactly how much will the gain be, how much will the installation cost, how reliable will it be, will I be able to get it to Canada without paying some crazy duty, etc. I'm sure if you had a working prototype you'd have 3 times the people signing up and sending in a deposit. Unfortunately you need the deposit before you can make a prototype, and that creates a vicious cycle...

I don't forsee us getting CARB certification. However, it should pass emissions as the turbo makes the engine more effecient If you can find a "friendly" state inspection facility, I would inquire about something like this. BTW, StreetConcepts (Craig) is in California and is getting the turbo. -Chris

Chris, My brother visited the shop yesterday and said they seemed confident in their capability to make the turbo a reality. I am, however concerned about the prototype. IF we make a deposit and they can't get it to work, will we get our deposit back? I don't doubt your credentials or those of the shop, but what if??

That is a good question. Because we are confident this will work, we will be giving refunds if we cannot get it to work, or bring this project to completion. I am investing some of my own money to the development to get this thing off the ground. Deposits are very much appreciated. I spoke with Gary today and he mentioned your brother coming by. He said the meeting went well. Also, BurritaSVT, I PM'ed you Gary's cell number so as to guarantee you two getting together. It sounds like a bad case of phone tag. -Chris
